Meet Our Speaker:
Amanda Penrose is a Financial Advisor and District Manager with Equitable Advisors in Raleigh, NC who brings a unique blend of recruiting expertise, financial acumen, and human-centered leadership to her role at Equitable. With a career that spans private staffing, corporate recruitment—including a tenure at IBM—and now financial services, Amanda has a proven track record of identifying top talent and supporting new advisors as they launch and grow successful practices.
Since joining Equitable in 2022, Amanda has expanded her impact by becoming a licensed Financial Advisor, holding Series 7, Series 66, Series 24, and NC Life & Health licenses, along with the SIE certification. Her academic foundation in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling inform her authentic, relationship-driven approach to both recruitment and client engagement.
Originally from Memphis, TN, and now based in Raleigh, NC since 2006, Amanda partners closely with another District Manager, Dillon Burdette, to drive strategic growth for the firm’s Raleigh team. She is a proud connector, career educator, and advocate for professionals seeking their fit in financial services.
Outside of work, Amanda is a mom of two, wife, friend, photographer, traveler, and musician. She’s passionate about educating clients on financial choices and loves engaging with candidates about the meaningful career opportunities in this industry.
