Volunteer Opportunities with WISE Greater Raleigh
Volunteering with WISE Greater Raleigh is the best way to get more out of your membership. By volunteering, you'll have the chance to make more connections, strengthen our chapter, develop new skills, and maybe even add something to your resume.
We have volunteer positions across every aspect of our chapter and with multiple levels of involvement (one-off tasks, a few hours a month, etc.).
Open Roles
We are always looking for members who want to contribute! Here are a few open positions:
Membership Maven
Engage and grow our membership by working with our Membership Chair to reach out to prospective, current, and renewing members. This will take approximately 2-4 hours per month and can be done on your schedule. This is an ongoing volunteer position.
Events Assistant
Help our event chairs bring programs to life by arriving one hour before scheduled events and staying 30 minutes after to help clean up. You can volunteer for one event or help out throughout the year.
Digital Media Creator
Work with our Marketing & Communications chair and use Canva to develop graphics for our social media and emails. This will take approximately 2 hours per month and can be done on your schedule. This is an ongoing volunteer position.
Influencer
Do you like to talk to people? Do you always have a good idea? Do you love social media and taking photos? Help us promote WISE GR by bringing us fresh ideas and also taking photos at events. This is a flexible volunteer position.
Social Leader
Whether it's leading a book club or gathering people together to watch the Women's World Cup final, help WISE Greater Raleigh by leading some social events! This can be a one-time event or an ongoing role.
Tech Admin
If you like behind-the-scenes work like basic website posts, have some familiarity with Slack and Google products, we would love your help! This a flexible and ongoing role.
